Black Digital Media is marketing Intrasonics

Black Digital Medial Ltd has been contracted to market and promote Intrasonics Ltd, based in Cambridge  who have developed and patented (world wide) a new mobile-media interactivity system that works by hiding data within an audio stream. 

The audio carrying the data can be broadcast as part of any radio or TV signal and is played through any loudspeaker in the home or at live venues.  The audio data is picked up by mobile phone microphones and decoded by a small software program in the handset - no new hardware is needed.  The data can then be used to link or precisely synchronise the mobile with the media being viewed.

For example if Carphone warehouse ran an TV ad campaign it could be coded using the Intrasonics technology that effectively allows it to communicate directly with all handset owners or just the ones its sold.

This technology allows consumers with just 'one touch' on their mobile keypad to click-through from TV or radio adverts to a web page for product information or to pick up an e-voucher.  This will revolutionise the way in which brands use advertising to interact with consumers.  Intrasonics can also turn passive TV viewing and voting into massive mobile multiplayer games, opening up a whole new generation of engaging interactivity for consumers.  Intrasonics interactivity offers controls that overcome many of the problems at the root of the current premium rate call TV fuss in the UK.

Intrasonics is now ready for market and we are just starting a round of discussions with potential go-to-market partners.  We would very much like to talk to you about the possibility of commercialising Intrasonics.
